Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is Proud of Blood Donors

DHSMV past and present blood donors met at the mobile unit for a group photo at their blood drive on October 2, 2003.

Chairperson, Nora Keith-Pitegoff honors the group, many of whom are multi-gallon donors, with a photo in the DHSMV newsletter. This photo represents only a small portion of those who donate regularly at DHSMV.

Kathy Cruce has donated since the 1970's to support the Dept. of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles in its life-saving service to the community. She has donated over 3 gallons of blood. Joy Wichmann, also donated at the same time as Kathy (not visible in this photo) and reached her one gallon level at this blood drive. Way to go Joy and Kathy!!

Janet Moran (left) and Paula Griner (center) are pictured with Southeastern Community Blood Center Area Blood Drive Coordinator Mary Lyons (right). Both are multi-gallon donors; Janet has donated over 10 gallons and Paula over 7 gallons of blood. Their dedication has saved many lives.
