Dedicated Donors: AWI-Caldwell Employees

SCBC can always count on the dedicated blood donors at AWI- Caldwell to provide lifesaving and life-sustaining blood to our local hospital patients almost every 8 weeks.

“The donors at AWI demonstrate compassion and generosity for saving lives,” said Dana Fagg, Area Blood Drive Coordinator.

Ms. Audrey Williams/ Blood Drive Chairperson

Audrey Williams has been volunteering for SCBC three years. In that time she has set an example for her fellow co-workers by scheduling blood drives and donating blood at each of the blood drives held at AWI- Caldwell. Audrey has donated numerous times, approximately a half- gallon of blood. Mrs. Williams has multiplied the life-saving potential of her role as a blood donor by encouraging her co-workers to do likewise and chairing drives that bring in about 20 units of blood every 8-9 weeks.

Leterance Emanuel smiles as he gives his 24th donation under the care of Phlebotomist Brenda Clary. Mr. Emanuel has been a blood donor since 1995.

Bill Dobson fearlessly donates his blood. Bill has been a blood donor since 1993 and has donated 12 gallons!

Bob Montpellier finish donating another unit to add to his 7 gallon record. Bob has been a donor since 1993.

Cynthia Goodman shows great “enthusiasm” for donating blood. Cynthia has been a donor since 1993 and has donated 8 gallons!

A Total of 86 units were collected on the mobile unit in the year 2006 from the donors at AWI- Caldwell, that’s 258 potential lives saved. A big thank you goes out to those who donate blood.
