Frequency Matters

You visit the dentist for a cleaning every 6 months, you trek to the doctor's office each year for an annual physical, you change the oil in your car every 3,000 miles...but do you take the time to donate blood regularly?

FREQUENCY MATTERS for blood donation too. If caring donors simply gave one more time a year, blood shortages would not exist.

Did you know...
A unit of donated whole blood only lasts 42 days.
Whole blood donors can give every 56 days
A unit of platelets only lasts 5 days.
Platelet donors can give every 14 days.

Make 2010 your lifesaving summer of giving. Every time you cruise in between March 18 and August 31, you'll walk away with a limited-edition donor gift. Hospital patients are counting on you all summer long; join the Frequency Matters Challenge and show them your commitment to giving blood!
