Donating blood is a simple act with a very powerful consequence. Each main blood component - red cells, platelets and plasma - has a distinct characteristic that can be used to help different types of patients heal and enjoy a healthy life. Due to the function of these components, one whole blood donation can save up to three lives!

An overview of the blood components:

Donate 2-Units of Red Cells: If you meet certain requirements, you can donate 2 units of red blood cells, during one donation.

Donate Platelets: Give platelets through apheresis and help supply a special blood component that is needed by many patients.

Donate Bone Marrow: Register to become a potential bone marrow donor and give someone a second chance for life.

Make a date to donate at one of our donation centers.

Schedule a Blood Drive: Make a group effort to save lives with your business, church, community group, or school.

Volunteer: Give your time and talent to support a lifesaving effort.
